Andrew Boaden – Chairman
Co-founder of Team Systems Group (now part of Misys plc) and co-founder and Non-exec Chairman of BIW Technologies, a leading international provider of SaaS for high-value capital project management.
Bill Flind – Non Executive
Co-founder of Team Systems Group which was subsequently sold to Misys plc, where Bill then served as CEO of Misys Open Systems division. Bill co-founded BIW in 2000 where he is currently serving as Financial Director.
David Tate – Non Executive
David is a Managing Partner of DFJ Esprit Secondaries and has been involved with the venture capital industry since 1998. In 2006, David co-founded Tempo Capital Partners, a specialist direct secondary venture investment firm, when the venture division of Nova Capital Management Limited which David had co-led since 2004 was de-merged to form Tempo. In February 2012, Tempo joined the DFJ Network to form DFJ Esprit Secondaries.
David has been involved with the acquisition of some of the largest European secondary direct venture portfolios. He has a particular focus on software, including SaaS, investments, and currently sits on the boards of software companies such as Arieso, TraceOne, Cast Software, Cerillion Technologies, MPL Systems and Mobixell Networks.
Prior to 2004, David was the Head of Investments and an Executive Director at WestLB Panmure, where he was responsible for sponsoring and managing 10 venture investments in the WestLB & Panmure Growth Fund, including Wolfson Microelectronics, a £200m IPO in 2003. Before WestLB Panmure, he spent over 15 years in investment banking, first at BZW and then at WestLB Group. His initial experience was in accountancy and management consultancy with Deloitte & Co.
David is a Chartered Accountant and was educated at Jesus College, Oxford, University College in London, and has completed the AMP at INSEAD.
Marija Bichan – Advisor
Marija invests and mentors early stage companies in a wide range of sectors, including retailing, e-commerce, social media and mobile. She has a portfolio of investments, is a founding member of Incito Ventures and acts as Board Observer for some of the South East Seed Fund portfolio companies. During her fifteen years experience as angel investor and most recently as fund manager of the South East fund, she worked closely with entrepreneurs to shape ideas, define go-to-market strategies and secure funding. Marija held managerial positions with Fortis Bank, Hambros Bank and HSBC, where she focused on the mid-corporate market.
